Production Operator
Duties:
- Manual and machine-operated fabrication of stainless steel tubing and wire including: cutting, grinding, end-forming (grit-blasting, bull-nosing, beveling), hole-drilling, and more.
- Machine set up, inspection, maintenance, and clean-up.
- Jig and fixture building, maintenance, and adaptation
- Reading and understanding production plans, drawings, and customer requirements.
- Maintaining proper documentation for material verification and inspection processes.
- Communicating problems and ideas to supervisors.
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment.
- Following quality standards and complying with procedures and training instructions.
- Using measuring tools including, but not limited to, micrometer, caliper, and pin gages.
Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 4 years of machining or mechanical experience
- Ability to work under magnification and lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand/walk for 4 hours and work no less than 40 hours per week.
- Basic computer and math knowledge.
- Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
