Position Overview:
IAP is currently seeking a skilled and versatile Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join our team. This multi-disciplined role will involve supporting various electrical and mechanical functions to ensure the smooth operation of our projects. Key responsibilities will include field service calls, in-house rebuilds, equipment testing, and field installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field service calls to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
• Support in-house rebuilds and equipment testing to ensure systems meet quality standards.
• Assist with field installations, including mechanical and electrical setup.
• Interpret and troubleshoot electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform low voltage and high voltage wiring, control wiring, and ensure all systems are safely installed and operating.
• Communicate with customer service teams to escalate issues or seek support when necessary.
• Develop and maintain accurate lists of parts needed for follow-up visits.
• Provide general shop assistance and support for various mechanical tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards during all installations and repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in low voltage, high voltage, and control wiring.
• Ability to interpret and troubleshoot electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
• Solid mechanical knowledge and the ability to assist with on-site installations.
• Strong computer skills for documenting work and communicating with the team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork, with approximately 33% of work requiring overnight stays.
• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as needed.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position with a dynamic work schedule. The role involves travel to various job sites and will require overnight stays. Weekdays and weekend work required.  A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.
