Job Description:

Education:
•High school diploma or G.E.D. required
•Bilingual a plus but not required

Work Experiences:
•1+ year of related work experience
•6+ months of supervisory experience preferred
•Knowledge of distribution functions and production standards preferred

Skills:
•Must have a “Safety First” mentality
•MS office, with Intermediate experience in Excel and other warehouse management system software
•Effective listening, speaking and writing communication skills
•Interpersonal skills that promote collaboration with operations team
•Ability to analyze problems and resolve issues in a calm, professional manner in a fast paced and frequently changing environment
•Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks

Responsibilities:
•Supervise Distribution Center crews and participate in activities related to receiving, storing, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of materials and supplies to ensure effective and efficient operations
•Promote productivity and safety through effective training and constant feedback to team members
•Monitor team member attendance and performance to provide feedback, as necessary
•Maintain daily objectives and ensure work goals are met in a timely and effective manner
•Communicate with other Distribution Center departments to maintain efficient product flow
•Conduct departmental meetings to provide working and safety instructions to team members
•*Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
