Hydraulic Power Unit Assembly Technician
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Power Unit Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling hydraulic power units and related components. This role requires a strong mechanical background, proficiency in reading schematics, and skills in welding, fabrication, and basic electrical work.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $24.00 per hour (Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week) Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test hydraulic power units according to schematics and engineering drawings.
- Fabricate and weld components as required for custom assembly projects.
- Bend and install hydraulic hoses and fittings to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems during assembly and testing.
- Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting for system integration.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to ensure projects meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Proven experience in hydraulic power unit assembly or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Welding and fabrication skills, including MIG and TIG welding.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, and connections.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
