Duties include

• Supporting patients by providing housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household requirements, preparing and serving meals and snacks, and running errands.
• Assisting patients by providing personal services, such as bathing, dressing, incontinence care, and grooming Helping the patient use their cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques, and equipment for personal hygiene.
• Recording patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying the supervisor of changing or unusual conditions.
• Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy patient environmen.t.
• Protecting the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements Qualifications: Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and supervisor Ability to multitask Ability to travel Valid Tennessee driver’s license and valid car insurance.
• Physically able to perform lifting, bending, standing, and other duties related to in-home aid.
