Description
Come and be part of the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce's semi-annual business expo and networking event on May 2nd, held at the Leslie Town Centre. Businesses are encouraged to showcase their services with informational booths, while community members are invited to connect and network. Our theme, "Igniting business, inspiring Olympic excellence," is tailored to fuel our anticipation for the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics!
FAQs as you prepare to host a booth:
- You can begin setting up your booths starting at 1:00 PM on May 2. We recommend being set-up by 4:00 PM.
- One 6-foot table and two chairs will be provided at each booth.
- If your booth needs access to an electric outlet, let us know as we will place you accordingly.
- Attendance for two (includes drink tickets) is included with booth registration. I will be sending a follow up email asking for attendee names.
- Additional tickets to the event are $10 before the event and $15 at the door.
Other options:
- As a way to collect business cards at your booth, you are welcome to do a giveaway of some kind that we can announce during the event.
- Decorating your booth to be aligned with the theme (Olympic sport, country, etc.) is also optional.
- Having an interactive game or activity to engage attendees has also proven to be a hit in the past but not required.
Booths hosts are invited to participate in this year's theme! A few examples would be:
- Decorating with the colors of Olympic rings
- Incorporating sports equipment and props related to Olympic events such as mini basketball hoops, tabletop sports, olympic themed photo booth, flags of participating countries, etc.
- Branding materials and signage featuring iconic Olympic symbols like the torch or laurel wreath
- Hosting mini competitions or challenges inspired by Olympic sports and offering prizes to participants
- Dressing in the uniform of your favorite Olympic sport
