Description
The Highlands Economic Partnership is excited to offer its inaugural Grant Writing Workshop to education institutions, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and other interested entities across the Upper Cumberland Region. The workshop will be led by Michelle Arbogast, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for Tennessee Tech University, alongside Jamie Murdock, Grant Development Manager for the Office of Research at Tennessee Tech University. In this workshop, we will focus on:
- Looking for grants and other funding opportunities
- Meeting the qualifications to apply for a grant
- Building relationships with grantors
- Tracking and reporting data and outcomes

The Highlands Economic Partnership (HEP) launched in 2006 under the umbrella of the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. It is a collaborative, public/private program designed to boost economic and community development in its partner counties.
