Bobby Wilder, TN Tech Football Head Coach
Bobby Wilder, the 13th head coach in Tennessee Tech football history, has already made a transformative impact. Under his leadership, the Golden Eagles earned their 11th Ohio Valley Conference championship—the first in tandem with the Big South—and achieved their first seven-win season since the 2011 OVC championship. The team also won five straight games, the longest in-season streak for Tech since 1999.
Known for his aggressive offense and relentless defense, Wilder brings a proven track record of success, including building Old Dominion University’s football program from scratch into a championship-winning team. With a coaching philosophy to “Aim High,” Wilder emphasizes recruiting and developing excellence on and off the field. Originally from Madison, Maine, Wilder holds degrees in physical education and educational administration, blending his passion for athletics with a commitment to mentorship and growth.
