Are you a backyard grilling aficionado? Do your friends and family rave about your perfectly cooked steaks? Put your skills to the test by competing in an SCA-sanctioned cookoff and have the chance to win cash, trophies, and prizes. This two-day event draws cooks from all over battling for their "Golden Ticket" to the world championship in March. The entry fee to compete varies from competition to competition. The entry fee for steak is $150, and the first-place winner takes home $1,000! 

Visitors are welcome to come out and watch as the competition heats up. Entry is FREE for nonparticipants! You can walk around and chat with experienced cooks while enjoying the tension-filled atmosphere of this exciting event.
